Smile Care Denture Clinic was established by Neil Boyd in 1985 at its current convenient address 55 Ryrie Street Geelong. His qualifications and experience are impressive. Having qualified as a dental technician in 1975, Neil built his experience over many years and in 1982, commenced training at the Melbourne Dental Hospital to become a qualified Dental Prosthetist.
He has since extended his qualifications enabling him to fit Partial Dentures as well as Implant Overdentures and is recognised as highly skilled in the Precision Equilibrated Denture Techniques
Neil is very particular when it comes to applying quality and hygiene at his clinic. All the staff at Smile Care Denture Clinic closely follow infection control procedures in the Australian Standard of Infection Control Guidelines.
From 2005 until 2008 Neil was a Director on the Board of the Australian Dental Prosthetist Association (Victoria) and the Dental Auxiliaries Program Advisory Committee. He has lectured on Precision Equilibrated Denture Techniques as well as Clinical digital photography .

Kurt Boyd - Dental Prosthetist
Kurt Boyd started his Diploma of Dental Technology in 2003 at a local Commercial Dental Laboratory. He completed his Diploma in June 2006 and has been working for us since July 2006.
Kurt went on and completed his Diploma of Dental Prosthetics at RMIT University in September 2008, qualifying with an outstanding level of knowledge and competence.
Lee Chapman- Practice Manager
Lee started as a Dental assistant in a Ballarat Dental Practice in 1994. She completed her qualifications in 1997. After working there for 5 years, in 1999 Lee decided working in the Whitsunday's in Reception and reservations was a nice way to spend the next 5 years .
Lee has been with us since June 2004 and keeps very busy with reception, infection control and office management .
Carl Boyd
Carl Boyd joined the Smile Care team commencing his Diploma of Dental Technology in January 2011. Carl is already proving to be very skilled with his hands, possessing all qualities to continue on to be an extremely skilled Dental Technician.
